Jay Rock has announced a new album.

STREAM: Kendrick Lamar And Future Join Jay Rock On 'Black Panther' Cut "King's Dead"

The Top Dawg Entertainment affiliate will be releasing a new album some time this year. Although the album does not currently have a title or confirmed release date, a track from the album was shared Thursday. Titled "King's Dead," the lead single features Kendrick Lamar, James Blake, and Future, with Mike WiLL Made-It and Teddy Walton handling production.

The forthcoming album will serve as the follow up to Jay Rock's 2015 album 90059.

Recently, it was announced that Top Dawg Entertainment would be in charge of producing and curating an album for the forthcoming Black Panther film.

Titled Black Panther: The Album, the release finds Lamar, Anthony "Top Dawg" Tiffith, and Black Panther director Ryan Coogler collaborating on music for the film.

"I am honored to be working with such an incredible artist whose work has been so inspirational, and whose artistic themes align with those we explore in the film," Coogler said. "I can't wait for the world to hear what Kendrick and TDE have in store."

"Working on such a powerful movie is a great opportunity," Tiffith added. "We're always working on new goals at TDE, so teaming up with Disney, Marvel Studios and the Black Panther film makes perfect sense."

The first single from the project, "All The Stars," which features Lamar and SZA, has already been released.
