Canadian hip-hop historian Nardwuar is back with a new interview. This time he takes on TDE star Jay Rock, a rapper who put out one of the best albums of 2018.

During this interview, Rock and Nardwuar went down memory lane: Rock told stories about the early days of Top Dawg Entertainment, and how he met president Top Dawg.

The highlight of the interview, however, came when Nardwuar showed Jay Rock a vinyl copy of an old mixtape with Kendrick Lamar (back when the Compton rapper was still going by K-Dot.)
