Janet Jackson Announces 2023 Tour, Tells Fans "There Will Be New Music"

With Ludacris as supporting act, Janet Jackson will embark on her Together Again North American tour in April 2023.

Janet Jackson is returning to touring for the first time in four years. On Monday (December 12), Live Nation announced that the R&B and pop icon will head on the road for the Together Again tour in 2023, with Ludacris as supporting act.

The 33-date tour will also mark Jackson's 50th anniversary of being a recording artist, also highlighting the 30th anniversary of her 1993 album janet, and 25th anniversary of her 1997 album The Velvet Rope. In October, The Velvet Rope received a 25th anniversary re-release, with remixes and rarities.

Kicking off at the Hard Rock Live in Hollywood, Florida on April 14, the Together Again tour will continue for dates in Atlanta, New York, Toronto and more, before ending on June 21 at Seattle's Climate Pledge Arena. The Together Again tour follows a jam-packed 2022 for Jackson, who released her self-titled Lifetime docuseries at the beginning of the year. In March, the vocalist co-headlined the 2022 Essence Festival in New Orleans.

During an Instagram Live on Monday morning, Jackson also shared that new music is in the works, telling fans "there will be new music," according to ET.

Tickets for the Together Again tour will be available to the general public starting Friday, December 16 on the Live Nation website. Check out the full lineup of tour dates below.
