A Report says both Ariana and Beyoncé took home $8 million.
According to The Blast, Ariana Grande and Beyoncé earned the same amount of money for their Coachella performances. This new report comes after a Variety article claimed Ariana Grande, Coachella’s youngest headliner in history, got paid twice the amount that Beyoncé, last year’s headliner, got.
According to The Blast, Grande and Beyonce had the same contract structure: both got pad $4 million per weekend, taking home $8 million in total.
Grande’s weekend one performance reunited *NSYNC — without Justin Timberlake — and the pop star had Nicki Minaj, Mase, and Puff Daddy join her on stage as well. Beyoncé’s performance, which has been immortalized in the recently released Netflix documentary Homecoming, featured a Destiny’s Child reunion and an appearance from JAY-Z and Solange.
