Ghostface Killah Reveals Kanye West & Mike Dean Will Executive Produce 'Supreme Clientele 2'

The rapper took to a Reddit forum to share specifics on his upcoming release, Supreme Clientele 2.

Ghostface Killah has officially announced details surrounding the release of Supreme Clientele 2.

In recent months the rapper has shared that the album was currently being worked on. It goes without saying that there are extremely high expectations for the forthcoming release. The COVID-19 pandemic and other factors that haven’t been addressed publicly could have led to the delay. Particularly, In October, he announced the album was coming.

Ghostface took to Reddit’s HipHopHeads forum to share when the album would be dropping: February 2022. From his account, he also wrote that Kanye West and Mike Dean would be executive producers of the album.

Supreme Clientele, Ghostface’s second solo studio album from 2000 is a seminal release that has always left fans yearning for more, it followed his 1996 album Ironman. Back in April, the rapper alluded to how some of the staples his fans enjoy most on Supreme Clientele don’t have specific origins. Instead, they were just filled with words and rhyme schemes he felt worked well. Per Vulture, he shared, "I just wanted to use some words that sounded good with each other and everybody’s trying to decipher what I mean when, really, I don’t even know what it means because I had no beat."

His most recent releases include his 2019 album Ghostface Killahs and the Lion Babe track, "Rainbows."

Here's something that should excite Wu-Tang Clan fans and hold over others who are hoping for new music — Ghostface will perform alongside GZA and Raekwon for the forthcoming 3 Chambers Tour slated to begin on October 1. 24 cities make up the tour which starts out in Minneapolis, Minnesota at the Midway Theatre and it'll close out on December 18 in Indianapolis, Indiana at the Vogue.
