Erykah Badu & James Poyser Share Cover Of Squeeze's "Tempted"

The cover was released as a Record Store Day 2019 7".

Back in April, Yep Roc Records released a 7" cover of Squeeze's 80s hit song "Tempted" by Erykah Badu and James Poyser. Now, the cover has been shared on music streaming services.

Badu made the song with Poyser, producer/engineer Steve Mandel, Thundercat, and others, according to Pitchfork. Along with the cover, an instrumental version has also been released.

Earlier this year, Badu performed alongside Yasiin Bey in San Francisco. The two did Bey's song "Umi Says" during Badu's show at The Warfield Theatre.
