In the three and a half minute segment, the Chicago rapper squares up with Cookie Monster for the role of Cookie Monster in a play directed by the one and only Elmo. Sadly, Chano just couldn't get his lines right, prompting the iconic director to swap Cookie Monster and the rapper's roles. A much more natural fit for the big blue cookie junky.
The cameo marks Chance's first TV spot since hosting Saturday Night Live in late 2017, for which he was nominated for a pair of Emmys. In November, he followed up his four-piece of summer loosies with a pair of new singles, "My Own Thing" and "The Man Who Has Everything."
