Featuring early classics from Herbie Hancock, Lee Morgan, Donald Byrd, and more.

Blue Note Records has unveiled an extensive list of titles for its 2020 vinyl reissue campaign.

An expansion of the ongoing Tone Poet Audiophile series, this year's docket features catalog classics from all eras of the iconic jazz label (as well as their Pacific Jazz and United Artists imprints,) including Herbie Hancock's The Prisoner, McCoy Tyner's Tender Moments,  Lee Morgan's The Cooker, Donald Byrd's Byrd in Flight, Art Blakey & The Jazz Messengers' Roots & Herbs, and more. Each album is remastered from its analog master tapes, pressed to heavyweight 180g wax, and packaged in updated tip-on gatefolds.

The campaign reignites on January 24th with the releases of Hank Mobley's Poppin' and Stanley Turrentine's Comin' Your Way, both of which are available to pre-order via Blue Note today.
