According to The Fader, Henrik Olsson Lilja released a statement to Swedish media outlet SVT Nyheter on Thursday that pushed back against a TMZ report that said Rocky was facing "inhumane conditions," as well as cited a US Embassy official who claimed the jail was "like walking into a toilet."
Lilja said that the rapper was "treated properly" by Swedish jail authorities, and clarified that while Rocky's holding cell smelled like urine, there are no such conditions in his current detention.
"He has never talked to TMZ or any third party regarding the circumstances when he was arrested, ie when he was in the prison. He was then treated and treated properly," Lilja said.
