According to Billboard, the viral sensation was a surprise guest during .Paak's set, welcoming him to the stage after a quick tease of Ginuwine's "Pony." Naturally, the crowd erupted, as "Old Town Road" began booming from the stage, warming it up for Lil Nas X, who had donned the requisite ten-gallon cap and a black leather jacket for his onstage collision with the Ventura squad.
