A Tribe Called Quest Will Perform With Anderson .Paak At The 2017 Grammy Awards
With the 59th Annual Grammy Awards just weeks away, anticipation is sky-high for who'll take home the little gold gramophones. But the awards themselves are just one component to the industry stir, as the full slate of performers for the ceremony have just been revealed. Top of the bill, A Tribe Called Quest will be joined by Anderson .Paak and Foo Fighters drummer Dave Grohl, likely for a take on their We Got It From Here...Thank You 4 Your Service cut "Movin' Backwards."
Also announced, Daft Punk will make a rare appearance, assisting The Weeknd in performing one of their two collaborative tracks from the Toronto singer's new album, Starboy. They join Alicia Keys, Bruno Mars, Adele, John Legend, Toby Keith, Carrie Underwood and Rihanna. There's also that long-rumored Prince tribute, which will allegedly line up with the return of The Purple One's catalog to non-TIDAL streaming services, though details are still slim. The 59th Annual Grammy Awards will be hosted by The Late Late Show's James Corden, airing Sunday, February 12th, on CBS at 8pm EST. Stay tuned for more in the weeks ahead.
