Kendrick Lamar, Drake, Childish Gambino Lead 2019 Grammy Nominees

Here are the 2018 Grammy Award Nominations Source: Grammys

Although Childish Gambino didn't release an album this year, he's still present on the nominees list thanks to "This Is America."

The nominees list for the 2019 Grammy Awards has been released and a handful of artists have received multiple nominations including Kendrick Lamar, Drake, Childish Gambino, Cardi B, Travis Scott and others.

At last year's Grammys, Lamar's Damn lost out to Bruno Mars' 24K Magic for Album of the Year, but the former might be able to win at this year's ceremony thanks to the Black Panther: The Album soundtrack he and Top Dawg Entertainment curated. In that category is also Drake's Scorpion, Cardi B's Invasion of Privacy, Janelle Monáe's Dirty Computer and others.

Although Gambino didn't release an album this year he's still very present on the list too thanks to his song "This Is America." The track has been nominated for Record of the Year, Song of the Year, Best Rap/Sung Collaboration, and Best Music Video.

For the Best Rap Album category, Pusha-T, Travis Scott, Mac Miller, Cardi and Nipsey Hussle will be competing against each other for the award.

Women are also very present on the nominees list. Aside from Monae and Cardi, Ella Mai, Tierra Whack, H.E.R. Chloe x Halle, Jorja Smith and others have received nominations as well.

Check out the full list below. The Grammys take place on February 10 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles and will air live on CBS.
