A dozen suspects pleaded not guilty to charges related to Junior's brutal murder last month in front of a Bronx bodega in Bronx Criminal Court Wednesday. As two of the suspects faced the judge, the slain 15-year-old's mother, Leandra Feliz, called the pair "killers" before stepping outside the courtroom to be consoled by family members, according to a report from the New York Daily News. She returned for the rest of the hearing after regaining her composure.

Later in the session, the 12 suspects were indicted.
"This crime was nothing less than ferocious," Bronx District Attorney Darcel Clark said. "The defendants were out for violence. They came upon the 15-year-old boy. . .chased him into a store, dragged him out and stabbed and slashed him."
The other inmates "want blood" from the three men — Danel Fernandez, 21; Jose Muniz, 21 and Santiago Rodriguez, 24 — involved with Junior's death on June 20, according to a report from Pix11. The trio is currently being held in the GRVC Building — a unit meant to house 50 inmates — at Rikers. Fernandez, Muniz, and Rodriguez belong to the Trinitarios gang, a violent New York-based organization composed of Dominican Americans.
