A circle is defined as set of points existing on a geometrical plane, each located at an equal distance from the center. A set of points that, together, create something more significant than themselves. That is the definition of this album: a music collective, equal in their vision and contributions, coming together to create a project of supreme musical and social relevance.
The DMV’s own ADÉ (fka Phil Ade) follows Two-18 with the six-track extended play Always Something featuring Lil Baby, Wale, Goldlink, Fatman Scoop, and Rich The Kid.
Scienz of Life drops the eleven-track album Inspired By Film, which was literally inspired by the 2015 docudrama The Secret To Ballin directed by Kenyatta Griggs.
The PENPALS follow Dead Letter Bureau with the Junclassic collaborative Tell Your Uncle featuring production from Squires and an appearance from ELUCID.
Noah Slee’s critically-acclaimed Otherland album gets a rework with the arrival of the Otherland: Remixes EP featuring EYUKALIPTUS, DKVPZ and JNTHN STEIN.
Montreal collective Planet Giza makes their full-length debut with the release of Added Sugar featuring contributions from Mick Jenkins and Kaytranada.
