Miguel Wears "How Nipsey Before Trump?" Statement Shirt At Coachella

The shirt has been well-received on social media.

Miguel recently wore a statement t-shirt at Coachella that honors the recent passing of Nipsey Hussle while calling out Donald Trump.

On Sunday, the R&B singer shared a video of himself on Instagram wearing a shirt that reads, "How Nipsey Before Trump?"

Since then, social media users have inquired about if the t-shirt is available to purchase anywhere, as well as offered their thoughts on the shirt's message, with a handful of people in favor of it.

But some users have also criticized the shirt, voicing their interpretation that it wishes death on Trump.

Although there are a couple of variations of the shirt, the one that Miguel is wearing is similar to this one being sold by a brand called freebeforeeleven.

A public memorial service for Hussle occurred Thursday at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. The service included appearances from Snoop Dogg and YG, as well as Hussle’s mother. Kendrick Lamar and Jay-Z also offered tributes to the late Los Angeles rapper, writing their own letters to him.
