Last week, DOOM took off with loot and severed ties with Adult Swim as his planned 15-week, 15 song campaign fell apart just shy of its midway mark. Within hours, he'd release a new track with Westside Gunn as the first of two promised collaborations. The next is slated to feature production from Alchemist.
Today, he adds a touch more mystique to a predictably unpredictable year, announcing a limited edition vinyl box-set of his classic solo debut, Operation: Doomsday. The colorful new collection is limited to just 1,500 copies, in which the album is pressed to seven 45s of various hues, packaged with two new pieces from Lord Scotch (the artist behind the iconic cover) along with a previously-unreleased DOOM sketch and a pair of 3D-printed 45-adaptors. All for the fairly reasonable price of $75 USD.
