The song appears to be a response to Cole’s decade-old track “False Prophets.”

CyHi The Prynce is taking the gloves off and going directly at J. Cole. On Friday, CyHi dropped a new diss track aimed at the North Carolina rapper.

The new song is called "B.R.A Lost Control” and he shared it via Instagram.

"Outside of all the bulls**t There’s artists who actually put their life on the line for hip hop ‼️‼️‼️," he captioned the post.

Produced by Brian AllDay and Mark Byrd, the song features CyHi taking shots at Cole, who it seems CyHi has wanted to address for years — going all the way back to when Cole dropped "False Prophets" in 2016. On that infamous track, Cole seemed to call out Kanye West. CyHi is a longtime friend and frequent collaborator of the controversial West.

Cole later admitted the lyrics of “False Prophets” were partially about Kanye.

“First of all, [I'm] just a fan," he told Angie Martinez in 2018. "Really, I don't know you. I'm just like a dude that was a fan back in the day, and when I'm writing 'False Prophets,' which that song wasn't about him. There's one verse that applies to him for sure, but if you listen to that song, that song is about what this shit is exposing. What I gotta check myself about. And I check myself on that song as well...We're worshipping celebrities."

On "B.R.A Lost Control,” CyHi blasts Cole for ducking Kendrick Lamar by removing his Kendrick diss from Might Delete Later.

"You were scared of our good brother in that Grand National, why? / Shoulda knew you and that lil' Honda was gonna have to collide/But tell St. John that them raps just ain't that jaw-dropping / You forgot I still owe you for 'False Prophets.'"
