Legendary rapper Redman is rapping like it's 1996.
The New Jersey MC has released another new track, a clear indication that, after years of delays, Muddy Waters Too, the sequel to the 1996 classic, is coming soon.
This track is called "1990 Now" and features the veteran rapper spitting over a vintage boom-bap beat, courtesy of Vinyl Frontiers. This has been a trend with Redman's new songs. He is definitely making tracks for the old heads that grew with him, instead of chasing young fans.
