According to TMZ, the victim allegedly approached Xan about comments he made during a 2018 interview with REVOLT TV, where he referred to Tupac's music as "boring." In a video obtained by the outlet (see below,) the rapper can be heard using the n-word and brandishing a semi-automatic handgun as he retreats to his vehicle, fleeing in the passenger seat as his girlfriend wheels them off.
Later that evening, Xan posted a brief statement to his Instagram story in which he claimed that he "was about to be attacked" by the man at the gas station, adding that he had "resorted to having to use self-defense." The 22-year-old rapper goes on: "Fuck all you old head ass bitches still talking about that 2pac shit like you own life. And stop picking on a kid.”
