Kendrick Lamar Hops on SiR's New Single 'Hair Down'

This fall, TDE's SiR will release his sophomore album, Chasing Summer. It's the followup to last year's excellent November.

On Thursday, August 8th, SiR released the first single from the album. It's called "Hair Down" and it features a verse from Kendrick Lamar.

SiR sat down with Zane Lowe — who premiered the track on his Apple Music’s Beats 1 show — to talk about the collaboration. Speaking about the verse, SiR said:

You should've seen me in a session when he was recording his verse, I'm sitting there like a kid. I was just trying to soak it all in, man. It's hard to really describe these feelings, man. Especially for someone that loves music as much as I do, to be in these rooms. It's incredible. But at the same time, it's the norm now. I've had to adjust and get used to the thought that I'm supposed to be here.
