Kanye West is seen on March 21, 2024 in Los Angeles, California.
The rapper gave himself the honor while claiming he made over $2 million in a day on his latest Yeezy drop.
Ye, the artist formerly known as Kanye West, has given himself quite the honor.
In a recent Instagram post, the rapper shared a picture of a goat alongside an all-caps caption that included declarations such as “THE GOAT OF ALL GOATS OF ANY GOAT THAT WAS EVER GOATED” and “YOUR FAVORITE GOATS FAVORITE GOAT.”
The caption continued on (with Ye even referencing the ending of his 2005 Grammy Awards speech), before ending with the website link to the Yeezy drop, YZY-SPLY.
From there, he claimed in an Instagram story post that he made over $2 million in a day on the new Yeezy release, according to Billboard. The collection included T-shirts, shorts and hoodies, as well as the YZY SL-01 sneaker.
Recently, Ye has been sharing — and subsequently deleting — social media posts teasing his Bully project. Among those teases was an Instagram post that seemed to signal a reunion with longtime collaborator Mike Dean, with the post being a picture of the pair from Ye’s The Life of Pablo listening event in 2016, along with a caption that read “BULLY,” according to Complex. Bully, which Ye announced in September last year, is expected to release some time this year, although an exact date has not yet been shared.
The artist has also been promoting his collaborative project with Ty Dolla $ign, VULTURES 2, having recently released a rather unsettling, AI-generated music video for the song “530.”
