North Carolina's own J. Cole lets go of a true-blue clip for "Apparently," the first single off his recently released 2014 Forest Hills Drive LP. It finds the half-crooning MC sinking into the great blue void with confessional lines that go a bit beyond introspective, all over a righteously wavy self-produced soundscape. It marks the inaugural sonic set from the much-anticipated release and a proper new installment in Cole's extensive catalogue of visuals. 2014 Forest Hills Drive is available today on iTunes and should be copped, as it stands as one of the year's best.
