\u201cI started my #MillionDollarPledge to help organizations on the ground doing work in our communities. It was never for or about me - it has & always will be for the people. We have work to do & the only way to get it done is if we all work together. Go to https://t.co/xr8M9w1cTQ\u201d

Last month Kaepernick, alongside Diddy and Steph Curry, expressed interest in wanting to purchase the Carolina Panthers after the team's owner, Jerry Richardson, expressed his desire to sell the NFL team amid allegations of sexual and racial misconduct toward former employees.
Following Richardson's announcement Diddy took to Instagram to voice his interest in purchasing the NFL team while also declaring that if he owned it he would sign Kaepernick.
Following the announcement both Kaepernick and Curry expressed interest in buying the team alongside Diddy. "I want in" Curry responded while Kaepernick said "I want in on this ownership group! Let's make it happen!"
