Three years ago, wrestling legend Hulk Hogan was fired from the World Wrestling Entertainment after a transcript of Hulk Hogan using the n-word numerous times leaked. All mention of Hogan was scrubbed from the website and WWE stopped promoting merchandising with him on it.
On Friday (November 2nd) Hulk Hogan made his return to the WWE. He appeared at the Crown Jewel pay-per-view event in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Hogan is hosting the event and he annouced to the crowd:
It's awesome to be here back in the WWE," Hulk said ... noting how excited he was to get on a plane and fly across the world to make his return.
The event was already controversial because of the fact that it's happening in Saudi Arabia, just weeks after Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggiwas murdered. Prince Mohammad Bin Salman Al Saud has been fingered as the person behind the killing, and star wrestlers like John Cena and Daniel Bryantapped out of the event.
\u201cWait you're saying Hulk Hogan is right now providing positive P.R. and cover for a power-crazed billionaire who'll stop at nothing to silence his critics\u201d
