In case you've yet to have your fill of the mash-up madness, a newly-surfaced tape stitches together vintage Kanye bars and assorted MF DOOM gems. Uploaded to Youtube earlier this month by DJ A-OK with new artwork and a reworked title, mash-up maestro, ayyy__donkey's Kanye x DOOM blend makes quick work out of two heavyweight catalogs.

Tailoring selections from West's early years to the brooding beat suites of Ol' Metal Fingers, the tape imagines an alternate hip-hop timeline in which the powerhouse producers, hip-hop villains in their own right and respective eras, converge into a Beautiful Dark Twisted DOOM (without actually utilizing any cuts from what is arguably Kanye's greatest piece to date.) The result is less forced than deeply hopeful.
