From Bieber's Star-Studded Set to The Strokes’ Statement: The 5 Best Moments at Coachella 2026 Weekend 2

Coachella 2026 weekend two featured some epic surprises from some of music’s biggest names. From Olivia Rodrigo’s surprise appearance during Addison Rae’s set to Justin Bieber once again delivering a laundry list of memorable moments (including a major one for Billie Eilish), the festival’s final weekend did not disappoint. The festival remains one of the biggest live events of the year, and Okayplayer picked our favorite moments from week two. 

Here are the five best moments at Coachella 2026 weekend two. 

Karol G announces tour and brings out Peso Pluma, Becky G, and J. Balvin

After becoming the first Latina to headline Coachella, the Colombian pop star brought out old buddy J. Balvin, as well as Peso Pluma, Becky G and Ryan Castro–and she announced that she was about to head out on a major tour in support of her fifth album, Tropicoqueta. 

Young Thug is joined by Mariah The Scientist

After his abbreviated set during weekend one, Young Thug hit the stage once again to show off his enviable catalog — this time alongside his fiancée Mariah the Scientist, who was a special guest for weekend two. They performed “Burning Blue,” and Thugger even ran through older songs like “Wyclef Jean” and “Family Don’t Matter,” and the Greatest Hits like "Mamacita," "Pick Up the Phone,” and “Best Friend.”

Sabrina Carpenter brings out Madonna

Sabrina Carpenter’s week two Coachella set delivered a major surprise when she brought out the icon Madonna to the main stage. The pair struck a pose for “Vogue,” a track from Madonna’s upcoming Confessions II, before closing out with “Like a Prayer.” “I have a few things I wanna get off my chest,” Madonna shared. “Twenty years ago today, I performed at Coachella. I was in the dance tent, and it was the first time I performed Confessions on the Dance Floor Part One in America.”

Justin Bieber brings Billie Eilish, SZA, Big Sean and Sexxy Red onstage

The pop megastar’s second weekend set featured mostly music from his two most recent albums, but Bieber also trotted out a who’s-who of guest stars, including Big Sean, Sexxy Red and SZA, who joined him onstage for “Snooze.” He and Sexyy performed “SWEET SPOT,” and he shared the stage with Sean for “As Long As You Love Me” and “No Pressure.”

In the biggest moment, though, Bieber brought out his biggest fan — Billie Eilish. Some background: in a classic video from over a decade ago, a pre-teen Eilish says, “I've got worried that when I get a boyfriend, I won't want to be with him because I actually love Justin Bieber more." So then, it was dope once Eilish came onto the stage to play the role of the “One Less Lonely Girl” Bieber sings about on the song.

The veteran rock band took the opportunity to condemn U.S. foreign intervention, including imagery of Iran and Gaza bombings

As the band performed, footage behind them showed statistics claiming the destruction of over 30 Iranian universities targeted in U.S.-Israeli airstrikes, while another clip showed the last standing university in the Gaza Strip before it was demolished by Israeli forces in 2024. They also showed a montage of assassinated leaders, including Martin Luther King Jr., who was assassinated in 1968 after years of federal surveillance. The footage also showed other leaders it asserted were overthrown by CIA opperations — among others, Patrice Lumumba, the first democratically elected prime minister of the Congo, who was executed in 1961, and Bolivian president Juan José Torres, who was ousted in 1971 and then killed five years later.
