Fetty Wap Reunites With His Daughter After His Prison Release
The “Trap Queen” singer shares daughter Khari with his ex, Masika.
Fetty Wap has reunited with his daughter Khari, following his release from prison. In a photo obtained by TMZ, Fetty is in full dad mode as he shares a loving moment with his little girl. In early January, he was released from prison early, to home confinement under supervised release conditions, and Fetty reportedly spent all week reconnecting with Khari.
Born Willie Junior Maxwell II, the star shares his daughter with his ex, Masika. He was also seen hanging out with Masika’s younger daughter, Amari. Masika had her with her late husband, Jamar Champ.
The “Trap Queen” singer was released from prison back on Jan. 8. His release came 11 months early from a federal jail, and it was almost 3 years after he was found guilty of conspiracy to distribute cocaine. He was sentenced by a New York court to 6 years in prison and 5 years of post-release supervision in May 2023.
"I want to thank my family, friends, and fans for the love, prayers, and continued support - it truly means everything to me," the rapper said in a statement shared with CNN upon his release.
"Right now, my focus is on giving back through my community initiatives and foundation, supporting at-risk young children by expanding access to education, early tech skills, and vision care for young kids and students so they can show up as their best selves. I'm committed to moving forward with purpose and making a meaningful impact where it matters most," the statement adds.
