Doechii Hates Cats and Doesn’t Care If You Disagree
The Grammy winning rapper explained why she despises felines in a recent Threads post.

Doechii found herself caught in one unique kind of backlash after she voiced her opinion on cats as pets. The Grammy-winning rapper shared her thoughts on Threads, explaining that she’s not a fan of felines at all. And she’s made it clear that you are not going to change her mind.
“People act like it’s a crime to dislike cats when they genuinely aren’t friendly animals,” she wrote. “They don’t wanna be domestic just leave ‘em alone! Like it’s not organic I’m sorrryyy be fr it’s rare that cats are immediately lovey without years of pain and work put in.”
When her followers voiced their disagreement, Doechii doubled down.
“Yall be scratched and beat tf up by your own animals I can’t lmaooo,” she added.
In the comments of her anti-cat post, she shared a video in the comments of her post, and it featured Tiffany Pollard (aka New York) laughing at audience members booing and throwing things at her back when Pollard was on Flavor of Love in 2006.
“Me vs Cat owners,” Doechii captioned the clip.
Doechii clearly likes having fun with her fans. Despite whether you agree with her on cats, it can’t be denied that the Florida native has been doing big things. Last fall, she kicked off her Live From the Swamp Tour, which was her first headlining tour. And last year, she launched a mental health hub after her own battles with anxiety.
