During a talk with Rap Genius in August, legendary producer DJ Premier talked about a fire song that he did with A$AP Ferg.

On Thursday, a song with DJ Premier and A$AP Ferg was released. The track, called "Our Streets," features Ferg bringing his unorthodox style to Primo's classic boom-bap. The song was released to celebrate the relaunching of the iconic rap label Payday Records.

The label's original founder is Patrick Moxey. Moxey launched the careers of rappers like Jeru the Damaja, Jay-Z, and Mos Def.

With the release of the single, DJ Premier put out a statement:
