After posting two pictures on Instagram that shaded Will Smith in the captions, Zoë Kravitz caught heat on social media.
On Tuesday night, Zoë Kravitz was cornered on social media. The Batman star posted two pictures of her Oscars 2022 gowns on Instagram, both with captions that shaded Will Smith for slapping Chris Rock during Sunday’s ceremony.
“Here’s a picture of my dress at the show where we are apparently assaulting people on stage now,” read Kravitz’s first post.

“And here is a picture of my dress at the party after the awards show – where we are apparently screaming profanities and assaulting people on stage now,” read the second post.
Twitter was quick to dig up receipts on the actress, who co-presented the nomination for Best Original Song during the 94th Academy Awards. Some even alleged that Kravitz exhibited predatory behavior towards then 14-year-old Jaden Smith, as the two co-starred in 2013 sci-fi film, After Earth alongside Will Smith.
zoe kravitz just mad at will smith for telling her to stay away from his son that's why she said all that https://t.co/NUV3SrVBLu

Kravitz’s resurfaced comments on Jaden were dug up from a 2013 interview with V Magazine where the actress called Jaden “handsome” and “cool”.
“There were moments that I was hanging out with Jaden and thinking, I can’t believe you’re 14, I have to check myself, like what I say to you,” Kravtiz said at the time. He has so much personality and so much swag, he is so much cooler than I am. And he’s so handsome, I was always like, when you’re older, you know, we’ll hang out…Nope, that’s inappropriate, you’re 14.”
Other questionable receipts on Kravitz were surfaced, including a 2015 interview with NYLON where the actress said she didn’t “identify with Black culture” growing up and even saying “I’m just as white as y’all” to her classmates.
“I identified with white culture, and I wanted to fit in. I didn’t identify with Black culture, like, I didn’t like Tyler Perry movies, and I wasn’t into hip-hop music. I liked Neil Young,” Kravitz said, also explaining that she didn’t want her acting roles to focus on her race.
“I don’t want to play everyone’s best friend,” she said. “I don’t want to play the role of a girl struggling in the ghetto. It’s not that that story isn’t important, but I saw patterns and was like, ‘I don’t relate to these people.’”
Twitter users also discovered an old Instagram post of Kravitz standing in front of a Jean-Michel Basquiat quote that said, “I am not a Black artist. I am an artist.”

“Happy to be Black. Just don’t need to say it in front of everything,” Kravitz’s caption ended.
Kravitz hasn’t yet made a follow-up statement about her comments towards Will Smith, but plenty of Twitter users did the talking, including more on her alleged anti-Black behavior. Read below.

I guess Zoe Kravitz prefers when people get assaulted backstage, like her friend Alexander Wang does it.

Zoe Kravitz should have kept quiet, now she's being outed as a predator, previously being in a relationship with a domestic abuser and being besties with a sexual predator. What a time to be alive. Pots calling kettles, logs in eyes.

Nothing will ever beat how quickly the internet will switch up on someone. Yesterday Zoe Kravitz was the sexiest woman ever and today she has to beat predator allegations.
