Wu-Tang Clan is all about proper hygiene. On Wednesday, the group announced their "Protect Ya Hands" collaboration with the plant-based brand Jusu. The sanitizer is one item in a campaign launched by the group and Ottawa, Canada, Mayor Jim Watson.
In addition to the sanitizer, the A Better Tomorrow Collection includes a T-shirt emblazoned with the Wu-Tang Clan's famous logo and a reusable food bowl. For every bottle purchased, another will be donated to The Ottawa Mission, a homeless shelter in Canada.
Additionally, the collection benefits the Children's Hospital of Eastern Ontario. The group explained its connection to Ontario in a statement on the 36 Chambers site. In early April, the group sent a donation and tweet in support of the Ottawa Food Bank.
"Within 48 hours," they wrote, "that action helped spur an additional $280,000 in contributions. In turn, the thousands of people who donated have inspired us to further lend a hand during this unprecedented crisis."
The sanitizer can be yours for $20. The T-shirt goes for $40, while the Pure Kitchen reusable bowl costs $21. Within eight hours of release, the group had to order another batch of t-shirts. That said, head to the link above and grab one while they're in stock.
"Whether it's through music, or our actions, the purpose of 36 Chambers and Wu-Tang, is to always see a better tomorrow."
