Lizzo to Perform as Musical Guest for Eddie Murphy's Return to 'Saturday Night Live'

The rapper-singer will perform on the December 21st episode.

Lizzo's hot streak doesn't seem to be cooling off any time soon.

After she racked up eight Grammy nominations on Wednesday, NBC announced she would be a musical guest for Saturday Night Live. Her appearance coincides with Eddie Murphy's return to the show. Two weeks prior, fellow Grammy nominee DaBaby will hit the stage as a musical guest. Jennifer Lopez will host that week's episode.

Murphy's SNL appearance is one of the final checkpoints on his comeback tour. The run includes My Name is Dolemite, Coming 2 America, and an hour-long Netflix special.
