Captain Marvel is Marvel's next big movie

Marvel has released the first trailer for Captain Marvel, the next superhero property being unleashed by the production company.

The trailer was premiered on ABC's Good Morning America on Tuesday, September 18th. The movie, which will take place in the 1990s — a Blockbusters is showcased in the trailer — stars Brie Larson as Captain Marvel, who comes to Earth to fight off some alien threat. She is being joined by a young Nick Fury, played by Samuel L. Jackson.

Captain Marvel is going to be a crucial member of the Marvel galaxy. If you remember, after the end credits of Avengers: Infinity War, Nick Fury sent out a message to her by pager. [Spoiler alert.]
