In a segment for Entertainment Tonight Live, the actress didn't hide her disdain for a potential remake.

Vivica A. Fox appeared on Entertainment Tonight Live on Wednesday (November 13th) to promote the final season of Empire, as well as her new film Christmas Matchmakers. On the air, host Neschelle Turner asked Fox about the reportedSet it Off remake.

Fox paused momentarily, stared into the camera, then added "it's a classic, leave it alone! There's absolutely no reason to try to redo it, it's been done! And we did it so well that people are absolutely going to compare it."

Fox played Francesca "Frankie" Sutton in the 1996 film directed by F. Gary Gray.

"I think that's her taking on a tremendous chore because that film has become a cult classic," Fox continued, "create your own new franchise. If you want to do a new film of girls robbing banks, create your own thing. People are absolutely going to compare [the two], and if it's not good, they're going to slay her for it."

Christmas Matchmakers will premiere on ION Television November 25th.
