Keanu Reeves Set to Star in the Upcoming 'The Matrix 4' Movie

The Matrix reloaded...again.

It's official. We're getting another The Marix movie. The Matrix 4 has been greenlit, according to an exclusive report from Variety. And the gang is back. Lana Wachowski — who helped write and direct The Matrix trilogy with her sister, Lilly — will write and direct the movie. Keanu Reeves will again be playing Neo., while Carrie-Anne Moss will play Trinity.

Warner Bros. Picture Group chairman Toby Emmerich talked about the sequel, saying:

We could not be more excited to be re-entering The Matrix with Lana. Lana is a true visionary — a singular and original creative filmmaker — and we are thrilled that she is writing, directing and producing this new chapter in The Matrix universe.

The movie will start production in 2020. What wasn't mentioned was what happened with The Matrix movie with Michal B. Jordan?
