Watch the First Trailer For 'She-Hulk: Attorney at Law,' Marvel's First Attempt at a Romantic Comedy

The first trailer for Marvel's new comedy She-Hulk: Attorney at Law has just been released.

Marvel has just released the trailer for its latest TV series, She-Hulk: Attorney at Law. Similar to all the other Marvel shows, the series will be featured on Disney+. It will make its debut starting on August 17th.

The show stars Tatiana Maslany as Jennifer Walters, a lawyer who is also moonlighting as She-Hulk. In the trailer, not only do we get a glimpse of Walters and her She-Hulk alter ego, but we also see Mark Ruffalo, who is reprising his role as Bruce Banner, aka the Hulk.

The nine-episode series will also feature Tim Roth, who is playing the Abomination, one of the Hulk's greatest villains in the comics. (He was also the main bad guy in  2008's The Incredible Hulk, one of the first MCU movies; we imagine this Abomination will be very different.)

She-Hulk: Attorney at Law will be the seventh live-action Marvel TV show to premiere since Wandavision debuted last year. Moon Knight just wrapped up its first season — to some very polarizing reviews — while Ms. Marvel will start streaming on Disney+ starting next month. One thing that makes She-Hulk interesting is that this show will have a much lighter comedic tone, with Walters dating life expected to be an important part of the story's development.

She-Hulk was mostly directed by Kat Coiro, who also directed the 2022 Jennifer Lopez romantic comedy Marry Me. Speaking about She-Hulk back in February, Coiro told The Wrap:

"...the cool thing about Marvel is that it is an ever-evolving universe and you have straight dramas, and you have very comedic films, and we are in that world where we’re definitely playing with a more comedic world, but it also is still part of Marvel land.”
