
RZA To Launch Livestream Movie Platform With 'Shaolin Vs. Wu Tang' Screening & Commentary

RZA is having a livestream screening and commentary of the classic 1983 kung fu film Shaolin vs. Wu Tang.
The screening will take place on the rapper and entrepreneur's new platform 36 Cinema. According to the platform's website, 36 Cinema will offer "a first-of-its-kind experience: live streaming some of our favorite movies while bringing in respected film experts to provide live commentary."
RZA offered more details about the screening on his Instagram account.
RZA and The Hollywood Theatre's head programmer Dan Halsted will provide live commmentary, while Mustafa Shaikh — the co-founder of 36 Chambers — will moderate. Viewers will be able to ask Shaikh questions during the screening.
Tickets for the livestream are available for $10 at the 36 Cinema website. The screening will begin at 9:15 est, on Friday, May 8.
