Spike Lee Wore an Outfit Honoring Prince at the 2019 Academy Awards
Dearly beloved, we are gathered here today…to get through this thing called life.
Famed director Spike Lee wore a purple Ozwald Boateng suit to the 2019 Academy Awards in honor of Prince. The director also has a necklace around his neck featuring an emblem of the Prince symbol
On the Director’s feet was a pair of custom gold Jordan 3s. Also interesting: Lee is honoring his iconic breakout movie Do the Right Thing. He is wearing two knuckle rings, with one saying “LOVE” and the other saying “HATE.” It’s similar to the ring that Radio Raheem wore in the iconic movie.
Spike Lee is up for Best Director and Best Picture for his latest film BlacKkKlansman.

Important: Spike Lee in Ozwald Boateng.
Ozwald, a black designer, was Creative Director of Givenchy homme 03-06. His green suit appeared in Black Panther.
