New Netflix Documentary Will Examine Jam Master Jay's Death, Assassination Attempt on Bob Marley

Netflix has announced a new documentary series. Titled Remastered, the doc will examine a number of high profile events centered around some of the most legendary figures in music.

The first season will be eight episodes, with each episode focusing on a different artist.

For the first season, you'll be able to watch episodes centered around Sam Cooke, Bob Marley, Jam Master Jay, Johnny Cash, and more. The first episode will be Who Shot the Sheriff?” The episode will take a close look at the role the CIA and Jamaican politicians played in an assassination attempt on Marley in Kingston.

That episode, or "track," will premiere on October 12th.

Other episodes will cover the tragic murders of Sam Cooke and Run-DMC Jam Master Jay.
