N.O.R.E. Denies That Twitter Rant Was Aimed at Cardi B

On Wednesday, N.O.R.E. had a rant on Twitter questioning if some hip-hop artists were "for the culture" if they did not visit Drink Champs.

N.O.R.E. is calling out some hip-hop artists for not stopping by Drink Champs. On Tuesday, the rapper and podcast host went to Twitter where he had a mini rant questioning rap artists for appearing on talk shows instead.

"I have been the best to this culture I have always put hiphop first," he wrote. "And I see u guys go to Ellen and David letterman’s and Zane lows [sic] and treat them wit more respect then [sic] the culture but u say u want black excellence."

He went on to name-drop other talk show hosts and journalists including Oprah Winfrey and Gayle King, who recently spoke with Megan Thee Stallion about her July 2020 incident with Tory Lanez.

Some speculated that Noreaga was shading Cardi B for not appearing on Drink Champs, which he's vehemently denied, instead claiming that he was talking to "all artists."

Noreaga on to declare that no rapper is "bigger than the culture."

Although Noreaga denies that his rant was about Cardi B, she has not responded to his tweets. The next special guests on Drink Champs are Dave Chappelle, Donnell Rawlings and Black Star, who released their sophomore album, No Fear of Time earlier this month.

“NEW @DrinkChamps episode with @BlackStarKeepShining is on the way! Special guest & comedy legends @DaveChappelle & @DonnellRawlings took things to another level,” N.O.R.E. wrote in an Instagram post.
