Judging by the picture, Misty Knight will be featured prominently in the second season of Luke Cage.

Spoilers ahead: if you have yet to watch The Defenders on Netflix you should not read ahead.

By the end of The Defenders so much happened, including Misty Knight's arm being cut off by the Hand villain Bakuto. Knight passes out upon losing the arm (as well as a copious amount of blood) only to awaken in a hospital with Colleen Wing, who assures her that Danny Rand (Iron Fist) will help with her recovery (Rand owns the hospital).

Now, in a recently-released image from the forthcoming second season of Luke Cage (via Entertainment Weekly), it turns out that Knight has a new high-tech enhanced prosthetic, as she walks alongside Cage.

For comic book fans, this is sure to be a treat. In the comics, Knight's bionic arm was designed by Tony Stark and Stark Industries after she lost the limb in a bombing. The arm grants her superhuman strength as well as concussive blasts, magnetism, and technopathy. However, it is unlikely that Stark designed Knight's arm in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but it surely foreshadows what may come in Luke Cage season two. Considering Wing was with Knight at the end of The Defenders it is possible that we might even see the two team up together as the Daughters of the Dragon in the series.

Luke Cage returns in 2018 on Netflix.
