Kanye West & Diddy Go Back & Forth Over "White Lives Matter" Shirt

In text messages, Ye snapped on Diddy for talking about his 'White Lives Matter' t-shirt on The Breakfast Club, also declaring "war" on him.

Kanye Westand Diddy have gone from friends to foes. After his interview with Tucker Carlson on Fox News, the Donda 2 rapper posted screenshots of a text conversation between himself and Diddy on Instagram. The posts comes days after Diddy denounced Ye's 'White Lives Matter' t-shirt in on The Breakfast Club, calling it "unnecessary noise" and "tone deaf."

Diddy's comments were a huge blow to Ye, who honored the Bad Boy Entertainment founder at the 2022 BET Awards in June. In one Instagram post, Ye said that Diddy "misspoke" on his 'White Lives Matter' statement, but that he still loved the entertainer and business mogul. In one screenshot, Diddy offers to meet Ye in person, to which the artist formerly known as Kanye West shoots an expletive.

Diddy later posted a clip of himself elaborating on his stance against Ye's message.

“I’ve always been there and I will always support my brother Kanye as a free thinker,” Diddy said in the clip. “But the ‘White Lives Matter’ t-shirt. I don’t rock with it. I’m not with it.”

He continued, "Right now, all America has planned for us is poverty, incarceration and death. So, before I could get to any other lives matter, which all lives matter... that Black lives matter, don’t play with it. Don’t wear the shirt, don’t buy the shirt. don’t play with the shirt. It’s not a joke."

Also catching a stray was Lil Boosie, who discussed Ye's controversial t-shirt on a recent Drink Champs appearance.
