Though he wasn't physically present, Kanye West did reportedly make a contribution to the "Blexit" (Black Exit) conference. According to Owens, a line of merchandise in support of the denouncement of the Democratic party by black voters was designed by West. Per Page Six, Owens claims West "has taken one of the boldest steps in America to open a conversation we have needed to have," adding, "Blexit is a renaissance and I am blessed to say that this logo, these colors, were created by my dear friend and fellow superhero." Kanye has yet to confirm his involvement with the merchandising, but appears to be making an attempt to game both sides of the aisle. He recently tweeted out his support of Amara Enyia, a Democrat running for mayor in Chicago. He was spotted at a rally for Enyia alongside Chance The Rapper earlier this week and has confirmed a donation of $73,500 to her campaign.
