Hulu Teases ‘RapCaviar Presents’ Docuseries With Tyler, the Creator, Jack Harlow & More
Less than two months ahead of their March 30 launch, Hulu has given a first look to their forthcoming docuseries RapCaviar Presents.
RapCaviar is coming to Hulu. On Tuesday (February 7), Spotify’s favorite rap playlist introduced forthcoming docuseries, RapCaviar Presents, which will be available to stream on Hulu beginning March 30. Appearing on the series are Tyler, the Creator, Pharrell Williams, City Girls, Jack Harlow, Coi Leray, Polo G and Roddy Ricch.
In a first look for the show, Tyler, the Creator discusses his lifelong fandom of Williams, and eventually collaborating with the N.E.R.D frontman on his third studio album, 2015’s Cherry Bomb. While on the road for an accompanying European tour, Williams imparted Tyler with wisdom that he was given by Interscope Records co-founder, Jimmy Iovine.
“Make something undeniable and make it equally as infectious,” Williams says in the clip. “Why are you doing music? Is it just because you just wanna look cool? Because that will burn out. When it becomes purpose-oriented, it can be as cool as the flashy s***, but it will be much more meaningful.”
In additional episodes, RapCaviar Presents will “a deep dive into current events that untangles important subjects and offers a view of the world from an artist’s perspective,” according to a press release.
The show, which was ordered last July, will be executive produced by Karam Gill, who also serves as creative director. Spotify executives Carl Chery and Liz Gateley will also oversee creative for the seven-episode series.
