50 Cent has shared the official trailer for his upcoming television project Hip Hop Homicides, which will debut on AMC Network’s WE tv in November.

50 Cent is bringing his television projects into the true crime space. On Wednesday, the Get Rich or Die Tryin’ rapper shared the trailer for his upcoming docuseries Hip Hop Homicides, which he co-produced for G-Unit Film & Television alongside Mona Scott-Young. Hosting the eight episode series on AMC Network’s WE tv will be journalist and podcaster Van Lathan.

“As of 2022, there have been a staggering number of rappers who have been murdered. And more than half of those cases are unsolved,” Lathan says in a recently-released trailer teasing the forthcoming series. “I’m your host, Van Lathan, and together with executive producer 50 Cent, we’re here to bring these cases into the light.”

Hip Hop Homicides will dive into the grim and untimely murders of rappers including Soulja Slim, XXXTentacion, Pop Smoke, King Von and more, as many of their deaths are unsolved. A number of artists will also appear on the series like Juvenile, Asian Doll, and French Montana.

“G-Unit Film and Television has thrived by telling real stories,” 50 said in a statement. “As I continue to grow my current slate, premium non-scripted programming will be a major focus. Hip hop loves things that are damaged. This series will shed light on the artists that didn’t make it through the struggle.”

Hip Hop Homicides premieres on November 3, and will also be available to stream on ALLBLK.
