True Detective Season three is coming in 2019.
On Friday (November 2nd) HBO released the latest trailer for True Detective season three.

The upcoming season will star Oscar-winner Mahershal Ali and Viggo Mortensen. Ali will play Wayne Hays, an Arkansas detective who is haunted by an old unsolved case. What’s interesting is that it seems like this season will span decades. At certain points you see Hays as an old man.
