From 'Section.80' to 'DAMN': Kendrick Lamar to Perform His Catalog at 2021 Day N Vegas Festival

Kendrick Lamar will headline the first night of the festival.

On Monday, Day N Vegas announced the lineup for its star-studded 2021 festival at the Las Vegas Festival Grounds. The event starts on November 12th, with Kendrick Lamar headlining the Friday night set. Check out the full list of performers below. Other guests include fellow TDE members Isaiah Rashad, D. Smoke, DaBaby, and more. Fans in attendance look to be in for a treat, however, as Kendrick's set is listed as One Night in Vegas, From Section.80 to DAMN.

Speculation over a new Kendrick Lamar album is steadily rising, with multiple images of what looks to be Kendrick shooting music videos on two separate occasions in September 2020. In January 2020, former Billboard editorial director Bill Werde set social media ablaze when he suggested the new project would be "pulling in more rock sounds." For now, fans can get ready to relive their favorite moments from the last ten years in November.

With Kendrick out of the spotlight, any updates on new albums would have to come from him or fellow Top Dawg Entertainment signees. In an interview with i-D, Lamar spoke with Baby Keem about how he has to take "the whole year just thinking about how I'm gonna execute a new sound." "I can't do the same thing over and over," he continued. "I need something to get me excited."

Tickets to the Day N Vegas Festival go on pre-sale starting Friday, June 18th, at 12 noon Pacific time. This will be the first chance to get tickets at the lowest price tier. Each tier is limited in quantity. Before Kendrick's show on Friday, attendees can check out sets from YG, Thundercat, Lucky Daye, Ari Lennox, and more. Travis Scott will headline the Saturday shows, while Tyler, the Creator will close out on Sunday.
