Watch The Trailer for Meek Mill's Criminal Justice Reform Docuseries

Free Meek arrives this summer.

As an extension of his ongoing criminal justice reform initiative, Meek Mill is set to detail his fight for freedom in an upcoming Amazon docu-series. Executive-produced by JAY-Z and Roc Nation, Free Meek flips a hashtag into a heartfelt and honest plea for systematic changes to the carceral system.

According to Rolling StoneFree Meek will examine the rapper's case in particular -- having been arrested in 2017 for the violation of his probation from a prior conviction -- offering "unprecedented access to the star’s life, career, and criminal justice odyssey, while demonstrating the negative effects long tail probation is having on urban communities of color," per a statement from Amazon.

After being previewed at one of the rapper's recent shows, the Free Meek trailer arrived today, featuring clips of concert footage, court documents, and snapshots of Philadelphia. A release date has yet to be revealed, but the trailer points towards summer for landing.
