Here's a First Look at LeBron James in The 'Space Jam' Reboot

See LeBron James finally make his debut in a Tune Squad uniform.

On the heels of a landmark deal with Warner Bros., HBO Max is beginning to show off its upcoming slate of 2021 titles. In the latest teaser from the streamer, fans finally got a glimpse of LeBron James' suiting up in a Tune Squad uniform in the long-awaited (and several times delayed,) Space Jam reboot, which is now officially called, Space Jam: A New Legacy (see below.)

James will star in the remake alongside Don Cheadle and Sonequa Martin-Green in a film directed by Black Panther's Ryan Coogler. A New Legacy will also reportedly feature appearances from Damian Lillard, Anthony Davis, Klay Thompson, and a number of WNBA stars.  And, of course, there's a video game based on the film in development. According to IGNXbox called on fans to submit game concepts for a chance to win a private screening of the film, signed LeBron James merch, and an Xbox Series S console. A winner has yet to be announced.

Along with the new Space Jam film, the reel includes brief clips and/or title screens from In The Heights, Judas and the Black Messiah,Dune, The Suicide Squad, The Matrix 4, and 14 other films set to steam on HBO Max on the same day as their theatrical release. All films included in the Warner Bros. deal will be available to stream for 31 days after landing in theaters.
