Eminem hopped on Twitter to post his favorites early Sunday morning.

Eminem is no stranger to greatest-rapper-of-all-time lists. The Detroit MC is seldom left out of people’s top 5 lists. On Sunday morning, he tweeted a list of his own.

South Carolina-based YouTuber NoLifeShaq posed the question Saturday night. For a video, he reached out to 30 rappers via direct message to ask their opinion on the greatest rapper of all-time. While he reached out on Instagram, Eminem surprised Shaq by responding on Twitter.

“In no particular order,” Em wrote, “Toss up between [Lil] Wayne, Pac, Royce, Jay, Redman, Treach, [Kool] G. Rap, Biggie and [Crooked I].”

Minutes later, Eminem followed up to add a few names. “Plus LL [Cool J], Nas, Joyner [Lucas], Kendrick [J.] Cole, Andre [3000], Rakim, and [Big Daddy] Kane.”

A handful of rappers responded directly. Method Man, Hopsin, Polo G, Joyner Lucas, Tech N9ne offered their ideas. Stream the full video below to see their responses.

Slaughterhouse member Crooked I and Joyner Lucas were pleasantly surprised to see their names.

🙏🏽 if you played ball and studied Michael Jordan as the greatest, and then Michael Jordan name drops you as one of the greatest ball players of all time. That’s how this feels to me. 🙏🏽❤️

The response from Eminem, however, clearly made NoLifeShaq’s day. “Happiest day of my f***ing life!” he wrote on Twitter. “Besides my two boys being born.” In the corresponding video, he says his personal answer would’ve been Tupac or Eminem. Shortly after Em’s response, Shaq quickly posted a reaction video to the response.

This past December, Eminem released an expanded version of the Slim Shady LP on two-disc CD and vinyl. Em also released a merchandise capsule featuring a silver cassette tape, Lego figurines, and signed contact sheet from the album booklet’s photoshoot.
